Tummy time.

I put him on the floor yesterday to have a little tummy-time. (I read somewhere that this is important so that they can build neck strength - which makes me wonder: have I ever heard of a child growing up with a weak neck due to not getting enough tummy-time??) Anyways, there he is, doing his tummy-time thing, and all of a sudden he's snoozin'. Too cute. I'm so used to seeing him sleep on his back that this was extra precious to me.

On my fridge.

Randy Rogers tickets! I am super excited for the upcoming concert. Not sure if my excitement stems from the great music, or the idea of a night out!?! I've got over nine months of pent up energy here, ya know! Anyways, if you haven't heard of the Randy Rogers Band, and you have any appreciation for country music, you will surely enjoy these guys. And I'm no talking about radio-country. Randy is red dirt country (although I have heard them on the radio more and more recently.) Hope you all can come out to support!!

On one of the nice days lately, we got out the sidewalk chalk. Aside from her thinking that the best place to draw is on Daddy's truck (timeout!!), I am certain that there is a budding young artist inside her :)

Whew!

Baby announcements are done! Well, mostly. I have a few stragglers, but most of them are out! I had lots of fun making them and recruited my friend, Linds, to help with the labor. Projects like that are such a reminder of how much I appreciate hands-on creativity + design vs. on-screen. Sitting at the table with a friend and a bowl of (Starburst) jelly beans can be so much more enjoyable than sitting in a corner with my nose to a computer screen all day. Too bad it doesn't pay the bills...

Bipolar.

When you ask Lilah to smile for the camera you either get this:

or, this:

And, is that a smile from Mr. Graham???

I'm counting it :) Write that one down is the baby book.

One month. One year.

Baby Graham turned one month old yesterday. Pretty crazy how time flies when you're having fun (or when you're sleep-deprived). He couldn't say so himself, but I know he's pretty pumped to be one month old. Life is pretty great for him. Not a care in the world.

Here's some recent shots of him. I think he looks more and more like his handsome daddy every day :)

And here's Lilah doing what she does most lately: reading.

And the other exciting birthday in our family is my niece, Eva Mae. She turned one on Monday and we celebrated by eating lots of yummy, girly cake!

The Abbey-Kadabby Cake was made my Eva's aunt Kathleen - way to go, girl!
